Who actually builds it?
I do. You deal with Jacob, the person designing and building your site, from the first message to handover. No account managers, no sales team. About me and Sitework →
What comes with every site?
Click-to-call and WhatsApp buttons, local SEO foundations (titles, sitemap, structured data), a design built around your trade and photos, and pages that load quickly on an ordinary phone. Hosting, domain, SSL, backups and small edits are all in the plan.
Do I get a proper invoice?
Yes, one every four weeks. HMRC lists website costs among the advertising expenses that may be allowable for a self-employed business, but it depends on your circumstances, so check with your accountant or read the HMRC guidance.
How does the pricing work?
There is no build fee. You pick a plan and that is the whole cost: £50 every four weeks for the website, hosting, domain, security and unlimited small edits. SEO + Map Pack is £350, or £300 on a website you already have, and adds the work that gets you found locally: your Google profile, reviews, town pages, twelve search-led posts every four weeks and the Google Maps guarantee. Three months minimum, then rolling.
How does the Google Maps guarantee work?
Before you sign, I run a free Maps check and we agree up to three searches and one area in writing, like "plumber Horsham". If a map grid scan across that area does not show you at an average position of 3 or better for each of them within 90 days, your first three payments stand, billing pauses and I keep working free until you are there. If the check says we cannot win it, I will tell you and not sell it. See the full guarantee →
Am I tied into a long contract?
Twelve weeks minimum (three four-weekly payments), then it is rolling, cancel any time, no exit fee. The minimum is there so I am not building sites for people who change their mind on the Tuesday. It does not trap you though: if you see the finished site and you are not happy with it, say so in the first month and I refund it.
Are the mockups really free?
Yes, genuinely. You fill in the form, I design real mockups of your business and send them over. No payment details, no deposit, no obligation. If you don't like any of them you just say so and that's the end of it. The risk is mine.
What happens after twelve months?
The website is yours to keep. The domain and the files transfer into your name, with no exit fee and no handover charge. If you want me to carry on hosting and looking after it, you can stay on your plan. If you would rather walk off with it, walk off with it.
What happens if I cancel?
After the first twelve weeks the plan is rolling, so you can stop any time. The plan is what keeps the site hosted, secure and updated, so if it ends before the twelve month mark the site comes offline. Want to keep running it yourself instead? Just ask and we will sort a handover, no drama.
How long until my site is live?
Mockups within a few days of your form. Once you pick a design and send your photos and details, your site is live in about a week, or a little longer if you need a lot of pages. If anything will take longer, you'll know up front.
Do I have to pay for leads, like Checkatrade?
Never. Every enquiry from your site comes straight to you, and you do not pay a penny per lead. The monthly fee is fixed whether the site brings you one job or fifty, unlike a pay-per-lead platform.
