How long does a boiler install take?
Most like-for-like combi swaps are done in a single day — usually 6 to 8 hours. Full system changes (combi to system, or rerouted flue runs) can take two days. We tell you up front in the quote.
Do you offer finance?
Yes — 0% over 24 months, subject to credit check. Longer plans up to 10 years are available with low rates if you'd rather spread it. We're authorised by the FCA to broker.
What if my gas pipe needs upgrading?
If the existing gas supply isn't up to spec for the new boiler, we'll flag it on the survey and quote the upgrade then — not on the day. No nasty surprises mid-install.
Are you really Gas Safe registered?
Every engineer in the company is on the Gas Safe register under our company number, 548921. You can look us up on the gassaferegister.co.uk website. We also carry the ID card on every job — ask to see it.
What boilers do you recommend?
For most three- and four-bedroom Birmingham houses, the Worcester Bosch 30CDi Compact at £2,400 fitted is the sweet spot — reliable, quiet, 12-year warranty. We'll recommend differently if your hot water demand is high.
Can I get a quote without a home visit?
For like-for-like swaps, yes — we can give you a number within 10% over the phone. For anything more involved we'd rather see it. The visit is always free.
